Joe Sharlip

Joe makes his home in the sunny Southern California desert, but will work virtually anywhere an assignment takes him.

He takes great pride in his accomplished track record of reinvigorating marketing organizations – especially ones in distress – in both agency and client-side roles. He applies his traditional brand strategy experience to drive next-generation digital marketing programs, and possesses a deep understanding of brand strategy, architecture development, and positioning.

Joe is adept at content marketing and generation through web, social media, e-Commerce platforms, and in interpreting back-end analytics – as well as the effective use of traditional communications platforms like TV and print. With experience spanning both agency and client-side roles, Joe possesses substantial experience in the design and oversight of quantitative and qualitative research, and has moderated focus groups, individual depth interviews, and facilitated brand workshops and ideation sessions – delivering insights in compelling briefs, marketing plans and white papers.

Rounding out his extensive skill set, Joe has led and supervised teams, managed sales accounts, developed C-suite relationships, done corporate training and public speaking. He holds a MBA in Marketing from UConn, has taken coursework in Digital Marketing Strategy from HubSpot, was trained in the ‘Art of Strategic Listening,’ and is a recipient of a Gold EFFIE from the American Marketing Association.
